Monte Marshall brings a wealth of experience to his position as career counselor over the College of Life Sciences and the McKay School of Education. Monte received a BS in Education and Psychology with a minor in Athletic Training and Sports Medicine from Southern Utah University. He went on to obtain an MS in Psychology with a School Counseling emphasis from Utah State University. Prior to working at University Career Services, Monte worked as a counselor and track coach at Timpview High School. In 2007, Monte was selected as Utah School Counselor of the Year. He also served as Vice President of the Utah School Counselors Association from 2007-2009. Outside of work, Monte is an avid runner. He has won three state championships and is currently the 4A record holder for top team performance on the Utah State cross country course.
