Prehealth Advisement

Thanks for visiting the prehealth website. We are here to help those interested in pursuing a career in any of the health professions. We have lots of information on the website, and plenty in our office (3328 WSC). There are student advisors that can answer most any question you might have about the careers, plus two full-time advisors for those questions beyond the knowledge of the student advisors. Dr. David Kaiser is the head advisor able to answer all of your questions and Rishann Nielson is the advisor for the allied health professions.

To sign up for the prehealth weekly email, please email health_professions@byu.edu. This will open a window to send an email to us, so please include in the message that you would like to sign up for the weekly email, as well as your name and email address. The email advises of professional schools' visits, volunteer opportunities, club activities, and much more. To discontinue receiving the email, send an email to health_professions@byu.edu, or reply to the weekly email.

Office Hours

There will be no office hours or appointments during reading days or finals. Students are welcome to walk in and speak with the student advisors until August 11th, but the office will be closed the 12th through the 14th. The office will reopen on the Friday the 15th.
